Beat Aches and Pains with a Backyard Spa, Hot Tubs Cupertino, San Jose

Monday, January 27th, 2020

For relieving joint pain, backaches, arthritis and other chronic discomfort, soaking in the family hot tub works. An all-natural alternative to medication, lounging in hot, massaging water targets pain on contact, providing fast, long lasting relief.

Here’s how to beat chronic aches and pains with a hot tub.

Soak Away Elevated Stress
Chronic pain is a physical and mental burden that often leads to elevated stress. Luckily, tension pain in the neck, shoulders and lower back can be controlled by hydromassage. With regular use, the hot tub can help keep elevated stress at bay, decreasing every day tension pain.

Prepare for Deep, Restful Sleep
Getting a great night’s sleep is challenging when chronic pain makes it tough to rest. Tossing, turning and waking throughout the night can be frustrating. With a hot tub at home, it’s easy to prepare for a relaxing, restful night’s sleep without having to rely on sleep aids.

Exercise without Pain
Physical activity can be an effective way to relieve chronic pain, but traditional exercise can be difficult. A hot tub filled with water supports body weight for easy, cushioned movement. A few minutes of stretching, walking in place or strength training can relieve stiffness, increase flexibility and improve range of motion over time without strain or discomfort.

So Go Ahead, Take a Soak, You Deserve It!
It’s fast, fun and relaxing. Not only that, it’s good for the body, soothes the mind and can improve your overall health and well-being.

To encourage local residents to check out the benefits of using a hot tub to help improve their overall health and well-being, The Spa and Sauna Company and Hot Spring Spas of Santa Cruz and San Jose are providing free test soaks at all their showrooms. We do recommend, however, that people wanting to schedule their free 30-minute soak call us ahead of time to reserve their spot.

Get in Shape in a Lap Pool, Swim Spa Dealer Cupertino

Monday, January 27th, 2020

Getting in shape isn’t the easiest of challenges. For more than a few of us, getting rid of those extra pounds that seem to creep on year after year is a never-ending battle. When the gym or fitness center isn’t an option, and limited time makes regular training difficult, why not turn to the swim spa? Aquatic fitness is a smart, practical way to reach your fitness goals.

Here are three ways to burn fat and condition the body in minutes a day using a swim spa.

Cardiovascular Fitness
Many health professionals recommend cardio as part of an exercise routine. Why not make it fun using a swim spa! Of course, lap swimming is the most obvious way to start, but the swim spa offers much more. Add an underwater treadmill to your swim spa and create a fun, low impact walking or running routine. Water is buoyant, meaning it supports the body. But it also provides natural resistance to keep it challenged too. Swimming burns fat from your entire body at once—a super effective plan for fast, long lasting weight loss.

Aquatic Strength Training
After a strong cardio workout, it’s the perfect time to add strength training to your swim spa routine. There are tons of great accessories available to turn your swim spa into an aquatic fitness center. Add resistance bands or a rowing bar for easy muscle sculpting in water. Or, create a customized routine using water weights.

Don’t Forget to Relax!
The ability to successfully get in shape, depends on how hard you work the body. But few people realize that getting enough rest and relaxation matters too. Swim spas can be equipped with spa-like features, giving you the hydrotherapy you need to calm and soothe a tired body. Powerful jets push hot, massaging water all over the body, relaxing, recharging and restoring tired muscles and joints.

So Go Ahead, Take a Swim, You Deserve It!
It’s, fast, fun and relaxing. Not only that, it’s good for the body, soothes the mind and can improve your overall health and well-being.

To encourage local residents to check out the benefits of using a swim spa to help improve their overall health and well-being, The Spa and Sauna Company is providing free swim spa test soaks at all their showrooms. Health Benefits from Regular Sauna Use, Saunas for Sale Sparks

Monday, January 27th, 2020

Sauna bathing is one of the most enjoyable activities. That’s the reason why so many homeowners are investing in a sauna. A sauna at home is more than a smart lifestyle choice, it’s a proven way to stay healthy.

Here are three incredible health benefits from regular sauna use.

Eliminate Stress
A sauna at home offers a space to manage stress, eliminate pain and recharge the body and mind. As part of a daily routine, a few minutes in the sauna can promote healthy stress management for a happier, more relaxed you.

Beat Insomnia For Good
What if there was a way to get the sleep you deserve? Sauna enthusiasts say improved sleep is one of the most exciting benefits of ownership. Just 30 minutes before bed, a relaxing few minutes in the intense heat of the sauna, helps you get the rest you deserve.

Healthy Skin Detox
Environmental impurities clog our skin and negatively impact how we feel. Within minutes of stepping into the sauna, elevated heat promotes an invigorating sweat and a healthy cleansing experience from the comfort of home.

So Go Ahead, Soak in a Sauna, You Deserve It!
It’s fast, fun and relaxing. Not only that, it’s good for the body, soothes the mind and can improve your overall health and well-being.

To encourage local residents to check out the benefits of using a sauna to help improve their overall health and well-being, The Spa and Sauna Company is providing free tests at all their showrooms. Soaking in a Hot Tub Makes Keeping Resolutions Easier, Hot Tubs Cupertino, San Jose

Monday, January 27th, 2020

The Spa and Sauna Company, a five-store hot tub and swim spa dealer serving Cupertino and San Jose publishes “How Using a Hot Tub Daily Makes Keeping Resolutions Easier.”

“One of the biggest problems people have with making those grand, life-changing differences that resolutions demand is that they don’t give themselves the best tools and take the right steps

2020 Freeflow Spa

to make it all happen” said Scott Clark, president of The Spa and Sauna Company.

Here’s how using a hot tub every day can help make keeping resolutions easier.

Releasing Stress and Renewing Focus with a Hot Tub – Soaking in a hot tub regularly helps people release the stress and tension of the day, as well as the worry of making their goals a reality. By reducing the worry, it is easier to regain focus on what has to be done in both the short and long term. Using time in the hot tub to meditate on the necessary next steps helps people get in touch with their inner abilities to make things happen. It is also a good way to recognize any unwarranted fears that may be stopping them from moving forward.

Soothe Nerves and Get Rid of Frustration by Soaking in the Portable Spa – Working hard toward a goal, especially after the first few weeks, can become more and more difficult. There may be things that get on people’s nerves, anger them, and frustrate them. All of these things are normal, but it also makes resolutions so hard to keep. Soaking in the relaxing, temperature-controlled waters of a hot tub reduces tension in the body, relieves the nerves and relaxes the mind so people can find good solutions that make sense for the issues that have made reaching the goal harder.

Get the Sleep Necessary to Prepare for the Work Ahead with a Hot Tub – Sleep is one of the most overlooked aspects of getting the best out of life, whether it is reaching a long-term goal, or just getting through the work or school day ahead. There is so much to do already in daily life, and when people add big goals to their already packed schedules, there doesn’t seem to be enough hours or energy in the day to get it all done… so what slides? The resolutions, of course. It doesn’t have to be that way though.

Soaking for 20 minutes before bedtime in a hot tub prepares the body to go to sleep. It also quiets the mind so all of those thoughts about what is needed to reach goals, or just get through the day, are pushed aside. When soaking in the portable spa, the heart rate decreases, the buoyancy of the water removes the pressure from the body, and the soothing massage jets work out tension and rock people into a relaxed state, ready to sleep well all night long.

To encourage local residents to check out the benefits of using a hot tub, sauna or swim spa to help improve their overall health and well-being, Hot Spring Spas of San Jose and Santa Cruz, and The Spa and Sauna Company, are providing free test soaks at all their showrooms.

How Long Does It Take to Buy a Hot Tub?

Thursday, January 9th, 2020

By Laura Varnon, Marketing Coordinator

How long does it take to buy a hot tub? Well, the answer really depends on a number of factors, including your shopping preferences, your confidence or familiarity with the hot tub brand, and your trust in the hot tub company.

Rest assured, when you purchase from The Spa and Sauna Company family of stores in Nevada and California, you are buying from your local hot tub experts, who have been selling quality hot tubs and  serving their local communities for decades.

Some customers can come into our showroom, pick out and purchase a hot tub in an hour, while others need more time to make that decision, sometimes months.

At The Spa and Sauna Company’s family of stores, we have had many repeat and referral hot tub customers over the years. We’ve even had customers come in and order the exact same hot tub years later because they enjoyed it so much, but were ready to upgrade to the latest features.

Below we will explore some factors that will determine how long it will take YOU to buy a hot tub.

Research – Research a little or research a lot, depending on your own preferences

Research could take as short or as long as you like, depending on your preferences. Some people spend hours and hours researching online before making a purchase. Others are very comfortable choosing from the well-known hot tub brands that we offer almost immediately, because they are familiar with them or have even owned them before.

Whatever your personal research preferences are, we are here, in part, to educate you about hot tubs and any other products we carry. We encourage our shoppers to be educated and are happy to provide those resources to you.

You can learn about some of our most commonly asked questions in our Learning Center here, or in our Blog section here.  We also have an Owner’s Corner to assist after your purchase, that you can look at here.

Want some information about how to buy a hot tub? Check out our Buyer’s Guide here.

Looking to narrow down your choices with a quick quiz? Take our Perfect Hot Tub Quiz here.

We are also happy to help you learn more about hot tubs, either in our showrooms, over the phone, by email, or by web chat. Feel free to contact us however you are most comfortable.

Quality of the Hot Tub Brand – We offer the best in hot tubs and have been selling them for decades

We have been selling only the best in hot tub brands for decades now. At all of our showrooms, we specialize in Hot Spring Spas, which offers 3 distinct product lines. To learn more about Hot Spring Spas, click here. We also carry Freeflow Spas, a value line of hot tubs, with an entry-level purchase point, at all of our showrooms. To learn about Freeflow, click here.

We know how quality hot tubs work and what their best features are. Our team of hot tub experts is  happy to help you select the best hot tub for you, based on how often you plan to use the hot tub, how many people you need to accommodate, your budget, and your preferences for water care.

Additionally, in our Nevada locations, we carry Caldera Spas, which is made by the same manufacturer as Hot Spring Spas, and Sundance Spas, by Jacuzzi Brand.

Local Experience – Decades of Local Experience Selling and Servicing and Maintaining Hot Tubs

When you buy from an established hot tub dealer with a long history in their communities, like The Spa and Sauna Company’s family of stores, you can feel confident that the company will be there to take care of you long after your initial hot tub purchase.

When deciding on your hot tub company, make sure to read reviews of the company, either on review boards or their website. Feel free to check out our reviews here.

Ask about how long they have served their community. The Spa and Sauna Company has been in the Reno/Sparks area since 1990 and our Bay Area stores, Hot Spring Spas of Santa Cruz and San Jose, have been serving their communities since 1976.

Ask about warranties. All of our hot tubs come with warranties. Higher series brands come with longer warranties than entry level hot tubs. Any hot tub you purchase should come with a warranty.

Ask about local service. We provide local service on all products we sell. Our technicians are factory trained. We also provide concierge hot tub cleaning services.

In summary, only you can determine exactly how long it will take you to buy a hot tub, but we feel that our length of service, the quality brands we offer and our experience and resources, can make you feel more comfortable with making a buying decision, when you are ready. We look forward to working with you!

1. We’ve Grown – The Spa and Sauna Co. now has locations in Nevada and California

Our biggest news of the year happened in the very beginning of 2019. In January 2019, The Spa and Sauna Company purchased Hot Spring Spas of Santa Cruz and Hot Spring Spas of San Jose.

“We are so glad to bring Hot Spring Spas of Santa Cruz and San Jose into The Spa and Sauna Co. family,” said company owner Scott Clark. “When I first started selling hot tubs, over 30 years ago, I was working in the Greater Bay Area and we started our business in San Jose, in 1990, so this has really come full circle.”

A year later, some things have changed, like our street address of our San Jose store, but our commitment to bringing you the best hot tub and swim spa brands and giving you the best hot tub ownership experience remains the same.

2. Hot Tubs, Swim Spas, Sauna Dealer San Jose Celebrates New Location Grand Opening

After decades of being at their previous address, the move has allowed for a more convenient location in town, at the Corner of Bascom and Union, and more space. 6500 square feet of it.

Displayed in our new space, are hot tubs, swim spas, and the new addition of Big Green Egg Barbecues. You can also find any water care you may need for your hot tub or swim spa needs.

Check out some photos from our new showroom, and get all of the other details about how to visit us, here.

3. Ask the Hot Tub Experts

This year, The Spa and Sauna Company had its first showroom events for existing customers. We hosted Ask the Hot Tub Experts Events in our showrooms in Reno and San Jose.

4. Sparks Veteran Awarded FREE Hot Tub

The Spa and Sauna Co., spa manufacturer Sundance Spas, and the charity Wish for Our Heroes teamed up in March 2019 to award a local veteran, Kevin Vogt of Sparks, a free Sundance spa as a small thank you for his military service.

He is the second local veteran to have received a free hot tub in less than 1 year from the 3 organizations. The Spa and Sauna Company is always pleased to be able to share the therapeutic value of hot tubs with the community and is especially happy to have the opportunity to give back to their local community.

Exercise and the Backyard Spa – A Heart Healthy Choice, Hot Tubs Scotts Valley

Thursday, December 19th, 2019

Soaking in the hot tub is relaxing, soothing, and loads of fun, nothing compares to stretching an achy body in luxurious warm, massaging water. But, did you know that you can also improve your health with a dip?

Here’s information about what you need to know to condition your body in the spa.

Buoyancy Cushions Joints
Mobility issues make physical exercise difficult, even painful. Luckily, the hot tub water cushions joints, removing all pressure and strain as buoyancy reduces body weight by as much as ninety percent. A simple routine of stretching in water is a heart healthy activity that’s fun and comfortable.

Build Endurance, Flexibility and Range of Motion
When pain limits range of motion, a hot tub is the perfect cure. Soaking for just a few minutes each day is a smart strategy, alleviating pain and gradually improving flexibility and range of motion. A spa at home is the ideal environment for safe stretching and can build endurance with regular use.

Cardiovascular Conditioning
Immersion in hot water produces amazing cardiovascular benefits even if you only relax. Heat increases blood circulation, and both heart rate and core body temperature increase. Using a hot tub offers the opportunity to engage in low impact training with highly aerobic cardio.
